Privacy Notice

Scope

This notice explains how Unoptimize handles information when you visit unoptimize.com, request access, or use a private decision room. An enterprise agreement or order form may contain additional privacy and data-processing terms; if those terms conflict with this notice, the signed agreement controls for that customer.

Information we receive

We receive information you choose to submit, including your name, work email, organization, role, access request, decision description, capital range, assumptions, constraints, evidence, and other decision-room inputs. We may also receive ordinary technical records needed to operate and secure the service, such as IP address, browser type, timestamps, request identifiers, and security events.

Please do not submit classified information, authentication credentials, regulated health information, payment-card details, or unnecessary personal information about other people.

How information is used

We use information to evaluate access requests; provide and improve the decision-underwriting service; generate, store, and retrieve reports; communicate about an engagement; protect the service and its users; comply with law; and enforce our terms. We do not sell personal information or use decision-room content for third-party advertising.

Frontier-model processing

Decision-room inputs are transmitted to our model provider, Anthropic, to generate an underwrite using Claude. Those inputs and resulting model output may contain confidential business information. The provider processes that information under its applicable commercial service terms and data safeguards. Customers requiring particular retention, locality, or private-deployment controls should establish those requirements in writing before submitting sensitive material.

Disclosure

We may disclose information to infrastructure, communications, security, analytics, and model providers that help operate the service; to professional advisers under duties of confidentiality; when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety; or in connection with a corporate transaction. Providers receive only the access reasonably needed for their role.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain decision records requested by a customer, meet contractual and legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Retention may differ under an enterprise agreement. We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the service. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with an access request, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention needs. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to object, restrict processing, or receive a portable copy. To make a request, contact us using the address below. We may need to verify your identity and authority.

International processing

Unoptimize and its providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, appropriate contractual or legal transfer safeguards will apply.

Changes and contact
